Doctor's Hours For Visual Artists
Have a new body of work no one has seen? Have a new website? Ready for some feedback? Come to Artspire's Doctor's Hours for individual, 20-minute one-on-one consultations with local curators, critics and gallerists. Get practical and professional advice in person from one or more arts professionals. Each appointment is $25, with a three appointment limit and the opportunity to share your work will be provided.
Doctor's Hours for Filmmaking
Starting a new film? In the middle, finishing, or trying to get one seen? Would you like some professional feedback on a work sample, trailer, website, outreach strategy, written material or grant application? Get the conversation started and come to Artspire’s Doctor’s Hours for Filmmakers. This event will provide you with individual, 20-minute one-on-one consultations with theatrical and nontheatrical distributors, exhibitors, broadcasters, outreach strategists, and fundraisers. Bring a short work sample or trailer, or show them your website, written materials or a grant application. Each appointment will be $25, and there is a three appointment limit.
Artspire One-On-One Mini Consultations
Artspire One-On-One is a unique, mini consulting session for artists in all disciplines at any stage in their career that are held off-site from NYFA and co-hosted with arts organizations throughout the United States. These sessions give artists an opportunity to meet one-on-one for 10 minutes with a program officer from Artspire, a program of New York Foundation for the Arts, to discuss how to move forward in their career and meet their professional goals. Participants may bring a grant, fiscal sponsorship, or residency application, or project proposal for review and feedback; use the session to brainstorm and discover where to find additional resources and opportunities for a specific project; or discuss next steps for achieving their goals. One-on-one sessions are for individual artists, but collaborative teams are welcome. Artspire One-On-One mini-consulting sessions are $10 for 10 minutes.
